Where did the name came from?
I like Non Manaka from PriPara. You see, Non Manaka > Nonsugar (her idol unit name) > Nonsugar > Noncandy.
The circle (or my alias idk) was originally going to be Noname (pronounced "non-ah-meh", のんあめ), but there is already a rapper way more popular than us so this name was dropped. It sounded cute and clever tho :(
Noncandy also came from the scrapped name, as "ame" (飴) is Japanese for "candy".
What software do you use?
Krita for art, Notepad++ for this very website. Still learning Reaper to make music and I have yet to learn Godot to make games someday.
Why there aren't much projects?
This cirlce is new and I am an inexperienced person. You see, I keep starting projects only to cancel them because I was not satisfied with the state. Burnout and dissatisfaction and shit. It's becoming a cycle at this point. Someday, I hope I'll be able to make a project that makes me feel satisfied at the end, whether it's music, games, etc.
I apologize if there isn't any much content made by Noncandy. Someday, maybe we'll actually do doujin circle stuff! Just wait patiently and you'll see.
